DIVISION I - REGISTERED CATTLE

A. Angus B. Simmental C. Shorthorn D. Hereford E. Charolais F. Red Angus G. Limousin H. Other

DIVISION II - COMMERCIAL CATTLE - FEMALE ONLY (Not Eligible For Div. I)

CLASSES:

1. Home Raised, Division II – Commercial Cattle Only, animals must be owned and raised by 4-H/FFA member or immediate

    family of the exhibitor, i.e. parents and/or siblings). See general rule 103.

2. Junior Heifer Calf - Calved January 1, 2008 and after.

3. Senior Heifer Calf - Calved September 1 - December 31, 2007.

4. Intermediate Yearling Heifer - Calved May 1 - August 31, 2007.

5. Junior Yearling Heifer - Calved January 1 - April 30, 2007.

6. Senior Yearling Heifer - Calved September 1 - December 31, 2006.

7. Cow - Two (2) years of age or older by August 31, 2008.

8. Cow/calf pair - calf age requirements of Class 2 apply. (either sex can be shown)

9. Bred and Owned heifers, Division I only (Jr. member must be the owner of Dam at breeding and Jr. member must be listed as

    the breeder and first owner of the calf being exhibited).

    *Supreme Champion Female. (Champion Females from Divisions I and II.)

DIVISION III REGISTERED BULLS

1. Junior Bull Calf - Calved January 1, 2008 and after.

2. Senior Bull Calf - Calved September 1 - December 31, 2007.

    *Champion Bull *Reserve Champion Bull

RULES:

1. All cattle must be clean and dry. Fitting will be left to the discretion of the exhibitor.

2. All cattle must be halter-broken to tie and lead.

3. All cattle must be de-horned and healed.

4. Exhibitors must be in possession of cattle on or before June 1, 2008. Cattle two (2) months or older must have registration

    papers and papers will be checked on show day before class competition. Papers can be in individual, farm or family name.

5. Classes will be split by breed. Breed champions will compete for overall Supreme Champion Female.

7. All cattle must have an approved Health Certificate signed within 30 days by an accredited veterinarian showing that they are

    free from contagious and/or infectious diseases. Animals exhibiting signs of infectious and/or contagious diseases will be

    removed from the fair grounds. 8. All registered bulls will compete in the same classes according to age.
