CARCASS SHOWS

CLASSES:

1. Steers 2. Lambs 3. Hogs 4. Goats

RULES:

1. Only animals entered in the market animal shows are eligible.

2. Entry fees are as follows: Steers - $10.00/entry, lambs hogs and goats $8.00/entry.

3. See general rule #17 for entry deadline information.

4. Carcass ultrasound data will be collected at weigh-in on July 15, 2008 by a CUP - certified ultrasound technician, and will be submitted to the Centralization Ultrasound Processing Lab in Iowa for tabulation.

5. Entries will be ranked according to carcass merit and cash awards will be distributed to the top 10 placings in each species.

6. Premiums will be paid according to the sliding scale for carcass show awards.

7. First place winners in each class will also receive an award.
