RULES/INFORMATION:


1. Feeders and water containers must be attached to the cages. Some available.
2. Feed will be provided.
3. All 4-H exhibitors will be asked to assist in the care of the birds during the fair. The Poultry Husbandry Award will include four areas:
a. Farm visit
b. Care of birds during the fair
c. Showmanship
d. Production Book
The Poultry Husbandry Award winner will receive a premium of $20.00
4. All birds must be tested prior to the show. Tests are provided at no cost to 4-H members.
5. Any birds showing evidence of poor health, disease, or external parasites will not be permitted. Birds should be bathed, if soiled, prior to the show.
6. 10 birds from the 4-H chain will be auctioned on Thursday, July 19, 2007. Bring 6 additional birds and a large box labeled with your name on it for the auction.
7. Exhibitors in the showmanship class will need to be clean and dressed appropriately.
Rosettes and prize money will be awarded for each division
